Fantastic Frogs

Welcome Back!

WOW! The holidays simply flew by and now we are straight back into it. This term we will be learning all about Biomes (Habitats) and the animals that call them home. The class have decided that they would like to transform our classroom over the term so keep an eye out for the many creations and changes they will be making. To support the students in their learning we will be running 5 different study groups in which the children will guide the learning to explore areas of interest to them. The 5 groups that will be running are: Rainforest, Tundra, Desert, Great Aussie Backyard and The Coral Reef.

The homework and spelling program will continue as normal and will resume in week 2. Thank you all for your continued support of these programs it is greatly appreciated and makes a HUGE difference for the students.

Student Led Conferences will be taking place in week 3 on Wednesday 29th July. This is a great opportunity for your child to share their learning with you and is a very rewarding experience for everyone. Remember that this time is for your child and if you would like to discuss anything specific with me I would recomend that you contact me to arrange another suitable time. Please dont forget to return the blue notice ASAP so that appointment times can be arranged.

Dont forget to keep an eye out in the ‘from the teacher’ section of the blog for ideas and strategies to support your childs learning at home. I often come cross documents and websites that are useful and will post them in this location for you to refer to.
